An Italian chickpea stew of sorts with small pasta of choice! A simple but beautiful blend of sage, garlic, chickpeas, potatoes, onion, tomatoes and olive oil. Choose between cavatelli (bronze die extruded shell like shape) or pisarei (bread and parmesan dumplings). All you need to do is heat the stew and add 100-300ml of hot water, bring it all to a nice boil, adjust the salt, add the cavatelli or the pisarei and let it cook in the stew for about 3-4 minutes or until cooked! Taste a piece of pasta to make sure its cooked and serve in bowls with plenty of parmesan! Serves 2 when served with a small plate/appetizer.
